Daniel Chamorro - Director de cine

Daniel Chamorro, has 110 National and International Prizes as a filmmaker. He was also preselected to the Oscar Academy Awards with his film Catharsis. Is one of the most prolific young authors in Spain.

Beside his 10 shortfilms and a documentary, he has made some commercials, and has compose music and act in his films and movies from other directors.

Chamorro studied a degree in Cinema by  Universidad Complutense in Madrid. He has made a Production Mastery in TAI School. He has also assist to different courses in the University and outside it. Berlin, México Capital, and Los Angeles (USA) has bring to him knowledge in different matters.

He was also a professor of literature and film in the Castilla-La Mancha University and punctually in different film Schools.
In 2003 he was selected in Berlinale Talent Campus, where he got in love with the city and started an artistic relationship with the capital, being one of the axis of his creations.
 He studied acting in different places, like Mexico, Berlín, or Los Angeles. René Pereyra or Bernard Hiller teach him there.
His films has been bought and seen everywhere in the world, and channels like FRANCE CANAL + has broadcast his shortfilms.

Daniel Chamorro worked also in the making of a “Master Plan” of a Theme Park about Films in Cantabria. They are making it now.

He has been considered by Variety Magazine in Cannes 2008 as one of the best 10 young best directors of the future in Spain.

He is developing different stories for feature films with productions companies from Spain and outside.
Beside his 110 awards in Filmmaking, Daniel has prizes as a poet, storytelling, light music composer, and soundtracks composer.
